Deddy Ridwan is a journalist and reporter who actively works for several media outlets in Aceh Province.
He began his journalism career while in school, then attended college, and continues his career as a journalist to this day.
Deddy Ridwan never received any specialized journalism training and learned solely from watching, listening, and reading various print, radio, and television media outlets, before the advent of online media.
Her passion and desire to pursue a career in journalism were inspired by her father, the late Ridwan DS, who was a journalist for RRI Banda Aceh, a news anchor known for his programs "Rural Broadcasts," "Your Voice," "Greetings to RRI Listeners Worldwide," and a live football broadcaster at Lampineueng Stadium in Banda Aceh.
One of her younger siblings, Maulina Iqlima Sari binti Ridwan DS, is also a Top Alumna of the First Class of Muharram Journalists College (MJC).
